Museum of Measurement
Warsaw
Museums
Warsaw’s museum scene is both thorough and diverse, and you can spend days wandering through galleries of ancient or modern art, exploring history, contemplating the lives of leading figures in Polish culture, and appreciating the city from every conceivable angle. But if you’re really in need of something new, different and a bit unusual, then the Museum of Measurement is for you. Here you will find, as the name suggests, the history of measurement, traced by a display of devices and instruments, among them a very early, mid-19th century solar-powered watch.
The museum is open for viewing by appointment only.
