Description

Can you create a sculpture, just in three hours, that is solid and will stay with you forever? YES! Together with us, you will take your first steps into the world of sculpture. In a friendly atmosphere that encourages creativity and the development of manual skills. The starting material is 'self-hardening clay' – a pliable sculpting material available in white, gray, or terracotta. This material can be used at every stage of artistic advancement. It adheres to the same principles as clay. However, very importantly for us, after 24 hours, our work is hardened, and we can further process this material – by sanding, sawing, drilling, etc. For those who spend hours in front of a computer, manual activities - working with hands in particular - are essential, it allows us to escape from the virtual world and focus on 'here and now.' It's a great way to develop your imagination, slow down and immerse yourself in a world of art and creativity. The workshops are open to EVERYONE, regardless of the level of artistic advancement, age, or artistic preferences. The workshop takes place at Konstruktorska 6, in the post-industrial area of Warsaw, located 15 minutes away from the city center. The Polish sculptor, Leszek Michalski will host you at his atelier. Leszek Michalski has over 25 years of experience in sculpting and working in metal. Leszek uses brass and bronze to create limited and one-of-a-kind collections of sculptures. When showcasing his works, he chooses atypical spots for exhibitions. He often prefers industrial spaces, clubs, etc. over art galleries. That allows him to create a particular relationship between reality, sculpture and spectator. In 2002 Leszek was awarded with the „The Creator of Polish Culture” diploma. In the past two decades, Leszek's works have been showcased tens of times, across all Europe. *If you can't take the sculpture with you, we'll be happy to ship it to you at the address you specify for an additional fee!
